Thanksgiving Update #2

SUCCESS. Turkey was tender, and pumpkin pie = perfection. According to the Al and Catherine: "We'll have to do Thanksgiving next year!". Well, clearly...

  2. We used half of a Japanese/grey pumpkin and made it 100% from scratch! It was delicious :)

  4. Japanese/grey pumpkin! who knew? I'm so glad it worked out...I've got my pie crusts and cranberry sauce made; tomorrow is pulling the pies together and mashed potatoes at the last minute!!!
